Double-Click text selection in Editor

Is it possible to control the default editor behaviour
when double-clicking text?

Underscores...
In Progress (.p) editing, a double click on lc_MyVar
will select MyVar.
In Webspeed (.html) editing, a double click on
lc_MyVar will select lc_MyVar.

For a hyphen, this behaviour is reversed.

Numbers...

In Progress (.p) editing, 00992020202990 will select
2020202 stopping at the 9 boundary for some reason
In Webspeed (.html) editing, 00992020202990 will
select 00992020202990
