Please let us know what release of MFG/PRO and Progress you are using,
as there are alternative means to do this. You do NOT want to
programmatically remove these records, as there are LOTS of traces that
would be left.

Subject: Auto-Deleting Sales Orders

Peggers,

We're looking into automating the deletion of sales orders.
Reason being, we can't CIM a sales order delete because of the 'F5' key,
and it's very time consuming for our customer service people to, daily,
go in and manually delete the necessary sales orders. We are wondering
if we can simply, from the back-end, using SQL queries, delete the SO
that we need to delete or are there many behind the scene processes tied
to deleting an SO that would cause problems if we simply deleted from
the so_mstr and sod_det tables? Please let help us out.
