Java version to use

Secunia just released info on vulnerabilities in Java JRE
and SDK.  Our current system uses v 1.3.1_20, and there
doesn't appear to be a Linux update for that version.  We
are in the process of converting to .NETUI and have
installed Java SDK 1.4.2_13 and JDK 1.5.0_06 for that.
There is an update to SDK 1.4.2_19, even though that version
is past it's end-of-life support period. I'm not sure about
the JDK 1.5 yet.

At any rate, we are running Progress 10.1b and EA2007 sp3 on
RedHat Linux Enterprise v4 for the new system. Progress 9.1e
and EB2 sp8 on the current system.

What versions of Java should we be using?
